This Blows…
It’s about 9:20pm Thailand time and Kwang and I just got back to Centered Yoga. We rented a scooter from Centered Yoga so we could go to Tesco (the Thai version of Wal-Mart) so we could get some shampoo etc…And Kwang really wanted to be in A/C for a while…We even ate dinner at a restaurant inside Tesco that I can only explain as a Thai version of Fondue (well sort of)…It seemed like a great idea at the time, but turned out to be a not so good one – something to mark done in the ‘have done’ book…
As soon as we left Tesco and began our drive home we realized we had a flat tire… “Well this just blows!” We were about five minutes from Tesco, and about ten from Centered Yoga…We couldn’t just leave the scooter there – so we decided that Kwang would get a Taxi to Centered Yoga and I would sit in the dark and wait with the scooter till he came back…It was alright b/c Kwang is scared of the dark, and I’m not J (just kidding – I insisted). About forty-five minutes later Kwang came back in a truck and two of the guys from Paul’s property lifted the scooter into the truck and off we went back to our bungalow…
Aside from the interesting trip to Tesco, I had a great day today…Paul gave me a new pose in practice today – but I must say I didn’t really want it…I am up to about two hours of practice now and that is just a really long practice. I do all of standing, all of Primary and up to Eka Pada Sirsasana in Second, followed by finishing sequence. I am not complaining as that is how it is supposed to be done – but gees man, it sure is a hellaofalong practice!(&!^%!$##!()(! Exhausted, I from the new pose (in addition to the rest of my practice) I slowly completed finishing sequence, and groaned as Neil helped me with my drop backs…Then I took a nice long Shavasana…
Sanskrit class was quite good today…The morning and afternoon session were really fun and the chanting sessions were really relaxing. After the morning session Kwang and I went for a really nice, long walk on the beach…

I would have liked to have written more this evening but Kwang is really distracting me right now and making it totally difficult to write a coherent sentence…
