One More Day In Mysore

Well, I must say today is a bit hectic!!  I have been running around trying to pack – figuring out what I’m storing with Shiva, what I’m taking with me to Thailand, what I’m shipping home, and what I am getting rid of…Hum, a bit of an ordeal.  I woke up this morning and sat to meditate straightaway b/c I knew I needed it, and I knew it would never happen if I did anything else first.  It was really hard today though b/c I kept thinking about all the things I needed to do.  So after about thirty minutes I got up and began getting stuff done.  Kwang woke up a little later and we headed to Anu’s for her ’special’ breakfast – she doesn’t do breakfast anymore, only lunch and dinner, but today she hosted a special ‘going away’ breakfast for students as Guruji is about to go on tour and all his students are heading off somewhere else in the world.  It was packed there and took a while to get our food.  But it was quite tasty and nice to see some people I know we wouldn’t have seen before we leave.

As soon as we got home I got back to ‘work’.  I am almost done with the sorting part – I’ve seperated everything and packed up the stuff we will ship and store.  I don’t think I’m gonna even mess with packing the stuff I’m taking with me till tomorrow morning…Too much man.  In about an hour we are gonna head out to ship the things home – I think we are gonna use DHL for that.  Then we will meet a bunch of fellow yogis around 7pm to attend ‘movie night’ with my friend Johnathan.

Last night was wonderful!  Kwang, Monica, Anna, and I went to Olive Garden (not to be confused with what you think of in the states).  We met up with Blake and Ally there – Kwang and I have never eaten there before – and what a shame b/c the food was AMAZING!  I can’t explain how entertaining Anna and Monica are…Funny as all get out.  We really had a great dinner and great company.  The atmosphere is also wonderful – Olive Garden is the resturant connected to the Windflower resort – a little ways away from Gokulam.  Kwang and I checked out the Windflower a few weeks ago – absolutely beautiful resort – I plan to stay there a few nights next year when we come.
