Today started off a little odd – since the storm knocked out some power lines last night we woke up without power around 4:45am and class began at 5am.  Linda, Kwang and myself were so out of it that we all made the decision to skip class today.  I woke up for good around 6am and read some travel articles, checked my email, worked a little on my site, did some laundry, and took an extremely cold shower.  Once Linda and Kwang were ‘up and at em’ we ran to Shakti to get some breakfast.  From there we attempted to take care of our plane tickets.  We went to two different travel agencies and neither one of them could help us.  Then we came back to the house and scootered over to Shiva’s to seek some advice.  He called Jyothi from FCM Travel solutions and she seemed very friendly on the phone.  He and I then rode over there and Jyothi told us she would look into it and to please return tomorrow after 10am. 

We returned home about 4pm and still had no power.  Luckily it finally came back on about 45 minutes later and didn’t go out again the rest of the day.  Kwang made everyone dinner around 7:30pm – we watched TV for a little while – and then went to bed.
